Fun fact: The combat system in Parasite Eve is still my favorite out of all the RPGs I have ever played, and is second in playtime next to Wow.

heheh, Actually I find humans much easier than animals (which means I DO suck at them, but not completely :P). What I do -and I might be way off-, is slowly defining the features with lots and lots of sketchy lines starting with the nose, and reshaping the head when needed. Eventually, after quite a bit of practice, you can simplify the features if your style is more... minimalist (ie: toony)
