Never underestimate bubbly, blonde girls who appear to be somewhat ditzy.....there's always a possibility they are much, much smarter than they appear to be, but keep a facade of cuteness to hide that.

In gaming terms she's the classic low Int, high Wis character. Maybe not the best at scientific reasoning, but she knows what's up.

What I mean is that we rarely see much if anything of Methelza, so she's always seemed like a 'what's in the box' type of girl. Pandora's box it seems now. >.>

I've never really done much with her, she's always just kind of been there in the background. Which is how she wants it actually.

Mitzi proves she's not the airhead everyone thought she was. The plot thickens, and it seems a number of questions brought up long ago are getting their answers.

Oh wait, she's a growlithe and they have stripes. Still, I thought they had more stripes than that.

No growlithes don't have many stripes. For some reason she gets mistaken for an arcanine all the time, and they have more, but she isn't one.

What software are you using the color these? I'm trying to think if there might be some sort of brush that could help her stripes look more like fur markings and less like marker stains. Their tips are good, but there's just something about their sides that makes them look unnatural. But I could just be nit-picking.

I certainly like how you draw the background buildings, though. Are you following any sort of popularly established canon for the school layout, buildings, or general architecture?

I use photoshop. I could have done more with the stripes to make them seem to blend in better, but I'm having to make a few sacrifices here and there in order to get these done quicker. I'm using a very quick and dirty method of shading so the quality is taking a hit, but better than taking twice as long to get them done. I actually do have a very rough layout of the campus, and there is some consistency in the background buildings. Those arches behind them were seen in a comic previously, for instance. The buildings are taken from photographs I have of some local college and high school campuses.
