If anyone caught my livestream today, this was the sculpt I was working on. :) He is about 5-6 inches tall, made out of super sculpey with a small armature inside. The shield is super sculpey, but after I formed it, I baked it separately in order to attach it without squishing.
Award for an SCA event for a friend of mine. It was commissioned by his group as a surprise custom herald piece. Will be baked and painted tomorrow.

I recommend mixing it with black and white sculpey III to make it a little less gummy.
Get some dental/make some small tools to use for stuff like this. You will save yourself a LOT of heartache and headaches.
Make sure you figure out your armature! You don't want to be fighting it later when it's already set up!
