Actully it was supposed to be a thylacine, but it looks more like a mouse to me. Btw, Thylacines are also known as Tasmanian Tigers, and were apex predators of the Australian outback. They had the front legs of a dog, the back legs and tail of a kangaroo, a striped back like a tiger, and a huge wolf like head. One day I'll be able to draw them right >.<
As far as this guy is concerned, he is a mix of a mouse, a kangaroo, and to make me feel like the piece wasn't something completely different than I intended, a thylacine :) He's on guard duty, but so bored he only looks up to check on what's going on every once in a while. "yep, still clear" I think he's thinking while waiting for his shift to get over. Knowing his luck, his relief will be late. Awwww :(
