Of course it sells, that's why it's there. I could counter your other argument with there's lots of M/M porn outside of this fandom as well. But people that happen to be straight (or otherwise) and are part of this fandom would also like to see it. And I'm glad that this comic, however much it will include, will have different sexual orientations and scenes playing throughout it. I'm not here to bash on any sexuality but coming in and saying things like "Lol well too bad to anyone who is not M/M!" because that's really rude. =/
Sorry love. I did not want to come across as rude. And I do understand what your saying, it's just a fact that the majority in the fandom are bi/gay or at the very least that's what most enjoy and for that it sells very well. There are some straight comics and books out there but they just don't seem to have much of a following. Furthermore the reason why some act snarky when this arises is many people whom are straight often try to force there views on how things should be here, a whole "straight pride" thing if you will. It then turns into a huge debate on morality. The reason why I said above that straight erotica is well everywhere is because; well it is... Not very often do we hear others complain when a male and female kiss on TV but we can all be assured it will cause major outrage if it's two men. For many this fandom is all they have to feel open and among others they can relate too with out fear of being a outcast because of there sexuality. Again I'm sorry if I offended you.
I understand that it's difficult, and this is why I enjoy Rukis' comics. I absolutely love "Cruelty" for the aspects of character development/involvement. I personally don't care what sexual orientation is going on in a comic but I just like well-developed work. But, I'm human, and seeing comments like "I wish that was two guys dancing instead of a lady and a guy dancing!" sets me off because (I don't know if you've seen it but I have) there is a lot of lady-hate that has happened in this fandom; I don't know why it's there but it is. And being a lady...well, you can see where that leads to. :P (Also, that has nothing to do with either of their orientation anyway as characters. *Shrug*)
But yeah, seeing heterosexist shit on TV and in the mass media...I know it's hard. =/ I'm not going to stand here and say like I truly understand that, as I'm heterosexual myself but I have seen a lot of close GSM friends of mine go through shit for it and it drives me nuts. (Also, "straight pride" is a huge fallacy, because heterosexual persons are not systematically oppressed for being straight whilst the GSM community is for being GSM.)
I'm sorry if I came off as attacking or harsh to you; I wasn't trying to. :3

I'm speaking from what has been released so far. Seeing as the 2 main characters on the front and back covers are male (and have already had some fun), the tiger kid is male, the crew members are male ... you get my point. lol Even if there is m/f or f/f bits here and there, the core will be m/m.
Awesome picture!!! Love the emotion expressed and I can imagine it so well. I don't know if this is on or totally off and I don't want an answer that gives anything away but in the last panel Amon looks like he's holding a ton of emotions back like he's in pain somehow and loaths what he's doing but has to comply because of his position as a slave. Sorry, not going to pick it apart anymore, again brilliant work!!
I'm guessing their playing this as the dance

Very true! I had only noticed the lack of panties... but it does seem that the pleated skirt has been changed to something with either a slit along the side, or a loin-cloth of sorts as it progressed.
Fixing it could require quite a bit of editing though. :-/ So, just advert your eyes to the purple panties and forget about it. ;)

if we're in for revision, the tangent in the first panel with the tail and the boob should probably be addressed, it's hard to get your mind around. pushing the tail up or down would resolve that; easy fix if your characters are on their own layer. digging the painterly style.
Is it me, or does our little snow panther have a thing for Amon? I would certainly think so... Mhh maybe Amon is bi. And he was forced at a young age to perform gay activities? That could be possible.
And if Amon is solely for the gay men of the brother, then our other little snow panther would be for the women solely then.
Aah wonderfull theories :p

The art of this comic is amazing, and I really should comment more.
I don't know if it's been said before, but it's really obvious that the back of Amon's head isn't finished in the top right corner panel. It's choppy and solid colored xD Just thought I'd point that out...

it's finished, hon. . . I just use a lot of different brushes. I've actually been trying to do more opaque coloration like that, since it tends to look more painterly. Thanks for your opinion, though. . . it's good to hear what things work for people and what things don't
