I almost fluffed this pic due to an annoying case of artist fatigue, but in the end I'm quite happy with it! Another gifty-piece (I feel like Santa Fio lately) that I created for someone special here on FA. =^x^=
One of the first furs who welcomed and befriended me when I joined this community was sanura_mosi, and she's just about the friendliest feline you could hope to meet. She's also a talented writer, and one of her stories (as well as some very cute photos she showed me of herself) inspired this bikini image. =^0^=
I only had a couple of reference pics to work with so I may have fudged the placement of her patches a bit. Anyway, hope you like it Kitten - you cute little calico, you! <3

*opens it up and barely keeps in her EEEEEEEEE!!*
*almost dies of happy embarassment and blushing*
And I blush anew and get more excited every time i open it up and i jump around some more.

I love you so much not becuz you made it, but becuz of the sentiments, i honestly thought i'd gotten forgotten with how busy your life is now. <3 i cannot express how lovely it is to find out i definitely haven't been
You did the most AMAZING job with the picture, you did an indescribably good job making me look adult, but with a kitten-like face. Much better than any picture i have of her to DATE, and that is a few. I KNEW i recognized that bikini *blush* and i'm equally as blushingly happy that you used something like that and remembered it.
The picture is PERFECT and i plan to print this out on nice paper with the laser printer and hang it on my living room wall <3.

A moment ago, you mentioned your uncertain approach to colour palettes; but once again, I think the colours work very nicely here. I did wonder about the towel, for a second or two... until I noticed that shade of blue in the lady's eyes. After that, the blue towel seemed just right.
To be honest with you, I find colour theory just a bit mysterious; I feel much more comfortable with black and white. As far as I can tell, certain ranges of colour seem to work together, but beyond that, I can only scratch my head. Here, they seem to work.

its something that comes natural to some and to others needs to be learn. thankfully i had a knack for it to begin with, then went to school and learned more. <3 so i'm pretty proud of my colour theory. Its not such a mystery, you just need to learn the lingo and the basics of colours.
