Yeah, anyway, I'm back! And I found out that in my absence, Staa has done...NOTHING!

But it's no big deal. I'm in a pretty good mood right now. This is one of my first attempts to better myself and learn to draw without help. And I think it turned out pretty good! For starters, besides my fursona, I've never really tried to seriously draw real furries before that aren't Pokemon or fictional creatures. I chose a red squirrel and an otter because they're adorable critters, even though red squirrels are kind of endangered and hard to find these days.

I also tried to modify my own style a bit to make it look more different from Staa. I see a lot of artists recently who are using really artsy styles, so after I coloured and lined this in Photoshop, I played around with some of the lesser-used brushes to come up with this effect.

The subject matter is hardly meaningful stuff, in fact even I don't know where I got this from. >_> It started with the squirrel and kind of went from there. As for the background, well I did that myself too! It wasn't as hard as I'd have thought, but it's also a lot less detailed than I was aiming for.

As I said, I'm going to be doing more clean but funny pictures from now on, although expect some more porn shortly. I'm just not really that motivated to draw lately.
