Here's a little tidbit -- if you are either a catholic, or you can somehow tolerate a very strong onslaught of preaching through an otherwise interesting story, give "The Tripods Attack" a read (first book from the Young Chesterton Chronicles). Even though the "The Tripods" novels are much better, "Tripods Attack" was quite good too.


You really just have to be able to stomach the underlying religious stuff.
