Mako's are long, slinky sharks so I tried to make Paccu's torso a bit longer than normal. :P

I think, and this is just me, that his head seems kind of awkward. I think maybe if you brought the fin higher up it would look less strange. I like it otherwise. It's extremely well drawn, and the color looks nice.

Yeah, the head looks a bit off for some reason. I keep thinking that there ought to be something there to break up the smoothness just a little bit.

Yeah, that's why I thought maybe a higher fin. Maybe even if the head was a little rounder instead of almond shaped.

Shark heads are difficult to do, mainly due to the complete lack of a neck! ;)

And the fin is supposed to be about mid to lower back, as Mako's have their dorsal fins a bit further down on their body. I think I like it that low, looks interesting, methinks... ;P

Very nice! But the tail, right before the tail fin itself, looks a bit flimsy for a 'powerful denizen of the deep', as it were.

Once I saw the back fin I began to see a little resemblence to Skyshadow. The back fin looks like Sky's horn, the chest is similar, and they both have long slender bodies.

What do I think about your new alter ego? I think he is cool, and a good Idea if you are trying to change the pace on your artwork.

Some similarities were bound to happen, as this is the first draft of him. But hopefully, I'll find some other things I like about him and keep the similarities to a minimal, if possible. :P

As a critique of the char: Very nice, I like the dorsal piercings and the tail, although I'd have fingers extending beyond the webbing(makes it hard to finger girls, ya know), but I really like the body form, very slim and trim:) great pic!

And yeah, it'll take a bit more experimentation to find a good balance for upper/lower body length without making it to akward.

easiest way to make the best anatomy, is to remember, that the upper body is always bit smaller than the lower body. (This means, that legs are longer than the upper body itself)

This is a great design! I am totally loving the colors and markings. His pose is very sexy as well. He is lack the Ampullae of Lorenzini though. They can't see without that. But I really think this is an adorable character! *intends to draw him*
