Nicholas, the only male in house dolphin at Clearwater Maine Aquarium (CMA). His mother and him were found sun burned and injured in Tampa Bay, sadly his mother passed soon after the rescue so he was never taught any survival skills, sadly he would die alone if released into the wild as he would not know how to hunt or locate and join another pod. He is a very happy dolphin though and I am so proud of him.

cool. I've never actually been to that aquarium. I'm surprised seeing as I've been through Clearwater many times in the past. Mostly getting to St. Pete there as my grandparents live there. Will have to take a look next time I go down by the area

It is my favorite by far because they rescue, rehabilitate and release almost all animals that come through, unless of course they are unable to be released back into the wild, then they are given a nice home at the aquarium :). Check it out next time!! Also the Florida aquarium in Tampa is nice.
