This one could be due to being in the middle
of some construction work of my own. But
it's also semi-sequel to #11 (On Temptation).

And what husband shouldn't do things like
this? With reason, our bunny wife can say
'My wolf is such a... handy wolf.'

     On Determination (#14)


     I’ll give him this: as goals go it is good.
     But walling in a big garden? He’s not
     Cut for this kind of thing. He really should
     Call a contractor, let them take their shot.

     Oh no, the work goes on. The summer days
     See him at play with stones and wet concrete.
     Wolves aren’t good masons and I’ve found it pays
     To groom him hard. Stuck fur from head to feet.

     Still, the wall’s strong and high. A bonus, too.
     I once went out to weed, brought him cool drink.
     Then leaned on it, flashed bunny tail. And you
     Can guess the rest. The weeds and stones won’t fink.

     That which a wall keeps out, all fine and well.
     But what a wall keeps in: Ah, I shan’t tell.
