You did a BEAUTIFUL job! I'm very, very proud of my student! You went from replicating simple things, to construction lines, to a full out drawing in only an hour! You have amazed me as you always have, and I know you'll only get better!

one could argue about the darker area of the ear being "too thick" and maybe a slight perspective issue i'm having (which very well might be me still waking up), but for a first time thing, pretty much out of your mind, it's quite well done.

I agree, I noticed that the dark area was too thick once I was done shading, but decided it was a minor mistake, and not worth risking ruining the paper and wasting a lot of time to fix. And I thought the perspective was a little iffy, but once again, a minor mistake. Thanks for pointing it out anyways, though, I'll watch out and try to prevent them next time.

Yes, that's elvish. I showed her how to write her name in elvish as a gift. If her and I meet irl, I'm going to teach her everything I know. personally. ^^ I'm glad you still remember it.

yeah its not a bad muzzle i guess, but im actually most impressed by the right ear, not to bad looking at all.
you need to work on the eyes most though, its likely to always be trouble, getting the distance between them and the angle to the viewer is tricky.
and is most important since thats usually where a person looks first, and to get their feel on their emotion.

also do you mean it was an inspired by something else picture? sounds like it considering "The construction lines I didn't do myself" & "just me working off a mental image". either way its a start.

The way she did her eyes are fine, and I don't think she's going to be taking advice from you. I'm just saying. The separation on her eyes is fine, and she did them very well. I didn't tell her that you thought her eyes weren't good because I would be lying. She did a great job on the eyes, the right ear, the muzzle, and everything else.
