Went to school at uaf for about three years, there's some furries up there too. But yeah, tourists and residents like that stuff, they are all about native and nature art up there in fbx. I never got into it though, missed opportunity for sure. I remember a tourist mentiong there was hardly any cow and calf moose pics.

If you move up there be ready for the near-constant darkness and cold. A lot of people moving in from the lower 48, particularily fromm sunny areas, have a REALLY hard time adjusting.

You do get paid each year to live there, but move there before jan because that's how they count a year.
