Go ahead and say it: It sounds like something from a video game. That's exactly what I was going for, actually! There's always some intro stage or something that's solidly action-packed but forgiving enough for you to kick some major ass on a later playthrough. Though if you're wont for getting inside my head, I generally associate this with tune with my character Captain Comet (not the Marvel one), and will be doing variations for slow dialogue scenes and the like.
