This requires some explanation, I suppose… Actually not related to Dreamkeepers in any way.
As it happens, I have finally developed a hobby (besides drawing) in which I actually indulge on a regular basis.
No, not shaving-
Roleplay! I tend to get this strange guilty sensation whenever I do something fun that doesn’t involve developing Dreamkeepers, but my culpability is mollified by the fact that I continue to draw Volume 3 as I play. But that’s beside the point:
Mouseguard, for any who haven’t heard of it, is a really charming graphic novel series by some other guy named David: http://www.davidpetersen.net/mouseguard/index.htm
Incidentally, it’s also been developed into a roaringly fun roleplay game. http://www.mouseguard.net/books/role-playing-game/
It’s notably attractive to me because the game tends to focus more on character, motive, and story rather than adding XP points to reach a mathematical level of inane godhood. Character driven stuff tends to get my motor cranking.
So as me and a close group of friends have been playing together for some time, I finally caved in to my desire for an indulgence of ’just for fun’ art and sketched up some quick portraits of our characters.
From top left to right they are:
Jim, steadfast and questionably unenthusiastic patrol leader:
Seelah, a calm presence when she’s not fanatically wielding a halberd into a weasels’ face:
Gawain, tender paw in training under Seelah, master of angst and body counts disproportionate to his size:
Rifter, the somewhat jittery but brilliant doctor:
And Tug the Idiot Juggler, aka Sliver, wanted for murder and adopter of many guises in the pursuit of clearing his name.
And since there was a blank spot, have a map.

I love they way you've kept some sort of realism with their appearance, like their eyes.
I would be tempted to play the game myself, just from what you've described of it let alone the picture of your characters, but alas I don't have decent internet, all I have is my phone at the moment.
