Dias de los muertos is quite a bit different from Halloween. It's a celebration and carnival of the dead, celebrating the spirits so that they may be remembered. Often times candy skulls, garlands, flowers, and other decorations are left on the grave site by their relatives. I'm not sure on all the details, but I like to be informative with what little I do know :3
