Guess this is my first bit of fanart here. xD

10 years ago (2001), I was obsessed with 3 things - the Clint Eastwood Gorillaz music video, Pokemon and Chicken Run. They were my everything in a time when life was happy and carefree, I had fun everyday.
The other day I was tidying up, and found an old drawing dated the 18 October 2001 --> http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/.....failed_mac.jpg And thought... Wow, the lineart has gone hideous and has bled, but that aside, lol, I wondered what would happen if I redrew it? So I did. But this time around I made it more dramatic.

So, the realisation of not being able to fly is sort of how I feel now. Realising that life can become so harsh and unbearable, and that being trapped is what happens. The freedom of your childhood is gone.

In my first drawing from 2001 is sort of "Hmm, that didn't work, but there's always tomorrow". It had that childlike quality.
My latest one is more like ".... It's hard to keep trying... I can't. I'm a failure." Has that crushing feeling.

Anyway, one of my favourite characters from Chicken Run, Mac.
