Quick question and I'm not trying to sound like a prick but the figures aren't dancing particularly all together, one seems to dip quicker than the other, which I think is cool cause it shows a natural look rather than "in-synch..robot..dance" was that intentional?

Yep. The animation is actually identical - it's just a different palette for each one. But I didn't want them to look like robots or some music video effect. So I delayed two of them by one frame, and one of them by two frames. :D

Tanks! The ribbon does a lot of it - yer too busy looking at the ribbon to notice when the body is moving funkily. But I think that's true of real ribbondancers, too :D

Citras apparently get their color from the citrus froot they eat. I don't know any blue citrus fruits.

Kinda cool, but I can't help but feel this needed more snap to it - the moment where the Citras turn to the right works great, the rest is just a bit loose.

Somethings wrong with it, its not playing correctly I see loading screen, pic of citra bent over, then pic of citra face with play beside it, then a few citras side by side with top hands and canes like they will start dancing then it repeats that series of pictures OVER AND OVER WTF IS WRONG WITH IT?

Well, I did it in CS3, using ActionScript 3.0, so if you have an older version of Flash, it might just be ignoring the scripts that make it work right? c_c

I dunno! Try Adobe Flash 9 - no-one else seems to have had problems with it. We only have Flash 8 at work tho', and it still works okay, I think... *shrug*

For those above complaining about the "gayness" of the song choice, let's consider that according to Adam Wan, 90% of Citras are homosexual males, with only a 10% breeding population, male and female. Now, one can see problems reproductively in here already (even if you completely ignore the homosexuality), but let's not go into that.

Of course, the Rainbow Bright song is not really "gay". It was meant for a television show for little girls back in the 1980s.

HA. Flash autoloops by default. I had to add something to make it NOT.

Hrm. I didn't have it loop in the time I did flash. Then again, that was in the time the years still were three digits, so that's probably different now. Proves though people have different taste. :)

I want to do animations myself, that's what I've been dreaming of since I'm small... I jsut got flash some weeks ago and I'm not really good with it, but this... this is really what I'd like to do! I like the thin lines, my flahs lines aer always so... big and poofy ^^

Well, get ahold of the Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams, first off.
Also, Flash isn't that great for traditional 2D animation - this was done in Toonboom Studio, and simply assembled in Flash from pieces.
