I suck at titles when pictures aren't based on a song oops (secretly I grabbed this one from a song I'm listening to anyway! eld is fire and that is relevant to the lighting okay, go away I'm not clever.)

anyway, this was supposed to be halloweenish or something I guess but there is nothing overwhelmingly so about it apart from the colours (and the dia de los muertos designs on his face). I do like it though! I used the gamut mask tool, using this scheme: http://i.imgur.com/fKn77.png

it was a challenge; I didn't use my usual overlay layers (or multiply or screen or any blending modes) to shade because I wanted to see if I could stick closely to the scheme and get good colours manually.

I like how this worked out! It took an obscene amount of time though and now I feel guilty like a procrastinator should. There is homework I need to do, damn it!
