Hmmm....
Well, both actually look like they might be interesting. So, a suggestion-see if you can arrange to have the hair done up as a type of wig? Have a little velcro hidden on the head (If you can get it in the same color as the suit itself).
That way you can see which looks better on the finished piece. *Chuckles*

The nice thing about hair is it goes on last, so how about we do no hair and see how that goes. If it looks like it needs some oomph, we've lost nothing at all!
Derp, I also forgot to talk about the ear floof-- the middle pictures have one ear with and one ear without because I wasn't sure what you liked best :3

likes it wif da hair. It just kinda sets off the head a bit, and most of your refs have hair of some sort. I'd say it honestly depends on the method used how it'll look.
For instance, I like how mine's hair is done, with the ponytail being basically a constructed piece of fur fabric overtop some filling. Plus, I think the extra black color up there offsets the orange/red of the head. Seems a little too bare between the ears without that to break it up.
