I was going for nervous concentration. You know how unsuccessful hunts usually are in real life, he's got a lot at stake here, he could get injured and/or go hungry.

I like how in addition to the foreshortening on the extended paw, you added blur to the image. You got the short depth of field going as though it was a photograph and just the face was in focus.
