I'm trying to get away from using overlay layers and toward using color directly, this is practice that I thought I'd upload. The worst part: I'm not making this up, it's a real fish. Still not half as disturbing as a sea pony though. Feedback regarding use of color/value would be appreciated if anybody has the time.

Your usual work is amusing and all but every once in a while you give us a little treat like this. Good work on the colors and shadows. I don't have any useful feedback though, I just like it.
I wonder if people would even get near any body of water if the knew of all the creepy things there are in it, just lurking beneath their feet and in the depths.
