Love it. The eyes and the staff really bring it out :) Also, the magicy-do-da is cool in that one's black and one's white... which is grey.

Heh, I coloured the eyes and staff just because I was trying to show that the picture was NOT just in black and white... Not sure if it worked, but I think it looks a little better with the bits of colour, anyway :P.
Originally, I wanted to do a tarrot-style picture, which is why you have lots of silly opposites like the open hand, closed hand, the leaves on one end of the staff, the withered (and barely visible) vines on the other, etc. And the black and white. Well, that and that's the only way I could think of to add at least a little contrast into the picture...
Once again, totally cool. I noticed the eyes first thing.
You miss the fun stuff. ;)
At first, I wanted to make this more tarrot-style with lots of symbolism and stuff and the ying yang symbol was part of it, but then I dropped the idea. I guess some of it still leaked through, though. :)
Good luck on the challenge! It's pretty hard but it's great fun!
also, no prob on comments, it happens XD besides, it isn't like you have to comment back on the commisions :3 the fact you care enough to do so is very nice ^^
