unless your working with slip or fairly wet clay this wont happen, if the clay your working with is too wet and it manages to keep its shape untill the next day youll be fine as long as you dont mess with it. it should only take a week to a week and a half to dry. i usually waited a good 2 weeks before i put my projects in the kiln. (if there was a deadline and ive had to do this a few times but i dont recommend it too much) place your project near the kiln so itll dry out faster, the reason i dont recommend it is it can cause your project to crack and split, sometimes to the point of no return.

oh yeah XD I've never had this happen. I also use plasteline which doesn't ever dry :)

the only clay i know of that dosent dry is used by bronze sculptures, its an oil based clay and they shape the clay into what they are wanting before they have it cast into the bronze sculptures that you normally see in a high end art gallery
