In the Pool at the Falls

Thought I'd add this last shot that showed the pool at the bottom of one of the cascades... I'd like to try and get more detail in the sky... maybe some blue but it's hard late in the day... you expose for the scenery and get white for your sky or expose for the sky and get black every thing else.... Sigh.... Maybe I'll be able to do something in photo shop. I did take a shot with the sky exposed right... just encase I get my act together with photo shop and can add the sky in later.

The problem you describe with your camera not having enough dynamic range (blown out sky or dark subject) is what you would buy my plate filters for...hopefully soon XD Alternatively, you can do an HDR type shot (though it will require more work than the plate filter method as you would have to clean up ghosting in photoshop). I used HDR in my recent sunset photos.
