Sometimes I regret not being a Foo Dog Stray

When I was looking them up Chow chow pictures came up because apparently chow chow are also referred to as foo dogs :D So you kinda are :o

They are often called 'Chinese Guardian Lions' also. I think they're intended to be lions, but 'foo dogs' look a lot cooler. XD

I agree, this is way cooler than those temple guard ones.

As I said in the note, I just love it! I'm so excited to paint this one in, especially since I never get to work on such dynamic images because mine are always so reserved. It reminds me of a still sketch from an animation actually. Also, I'll try to retain your line variations when I transfer over the sketch. The weight really focuses the character and brings the image to life. :)

Thank you very much for collaborating with me! I'm very excited to work on this one. Since homework and classes have been consuming the majority of my time, I've just been itching to do some tea staining.

I'm really happy you like it! I saw so many more ornate foo dogs than this and thought I may have under detailed him D: I had many static thumbnail ideas but this one stood out to me most as needing to be done :D
