I feel awfully embarassed as is to do this, but...

Ever since Alex F Vance posted a journal pretty much asking people to sing more last year, I've done it. I used to sing as a kid, and I stopped when my voice cracked. Till today I still don't have full control over my voice but that never stopped me from singing at every chance I got listening to tunes or in the shower or even in public (when no one was around). Because I knew my voice was still awful and I am green in envy when I listen to guys and gals on the internet post up them singing songs sung by great talented artists.

I would really like to sing more. I love to do it. I got a new headset not long ago and I started up Audacity for once in along while.

After countless days of retries, rerecords, throwing my arms up in the air and declaring my voice as unsalvageably awful, I eventually came up with this.

Butterfly, originally sung by Kouji Wada for the anime digimon was sung by the talented Ade Basuki when it aired in Indonesia. I woke up Sunday 7 AM to get up and watch this show and this song always struck me each time as I watched one of the most heart-string pulling animes I've ever watched. Till this day the nostalgia gets me. The versions up on youtube is not sung by Ade Basuki. I have no recording of him singing at all and it seems to have disappeared from the Indonesian internet.

I've taken the Indonesian lyrics and changed it a bit and started to sing this. I look for critique, but I can't blame anyone for not wanting to listen to it. :p
