They have found quite a few swimming tracks over the years. The paleontologists I work with study the Johnson Farm track site, which records a whole Jurassic lake side ecosystem. Swim tracks look like long, raking lines as the animal floats near the surface and paddles with it's legs - leaving claw marks that eventually disappear as the water gets deeper.
