I wanted to make myself a Halloween-y icon. This is what ended up happening instead. x3

Only this time I wanted to draw him as if he would be possessed by the Putotyra combo. There's this one point in Kamen Rider OOO where Eiji uses the Tatoba combo while under the influence of the Putotyra medals and so instead of having the pretty green eyes on the mask that it usually has, it has these purple eyes (reflective of the Putotyra combination). I'm pretty sure a good majority of people have no idea what I'm talking about anyways. XD And it totally doesn't matter...(though one of these days I'm gonna figure out how to draw literal Putotyra...)

I was gonna just use line art on this and do cell shading like I usually do, but I felt like make him all painty. So I did. ^^;

So, step one was the sketch. I just left it all sketchy which is kinda unlike me. I tent to make my sketches kinda cleaner. But since I wasn't gonna trace anything for line art it wasn't necessary to clean it up past that.

Step two, blocking in colors and lighting. Which...in retrospect this kinda painting a good majority of the picture for me. ^^; The blocking in's more detailed than it should be but then that makes the next step a bit easier...

Which is step three, smoothing details. Clearly I'm still doing this. I only really worked a bit around the eye and on the beak. Other than that, I'm still painting this.

I'll do more over the weekend. Maybe some more tonight. I really should've been doing homework but I ended up watching Power Rangers RPM, stuff on That Guy with the Glasses, and drawing this instead. XD Yay procrastination! x3
