since the lady who sold lukas were out of chinchilla cages, we had to look for a cage somewhere else. we found this big parrot cage in a town nearby.
Yes we know, it need atleast 3 levels for him to run in. but since it was late when we got our hands on the cage, there was no stores open for us to get material to make himlevels. thats why we put up a few towels to let him run and jump a little ((he so far love the towels hehe)). and the pet-store in our town had nothing for chinchillas. so i've had to order toys and houses for him online D: takes sadly 3-10 days to get them.... slow website hurr hurrr....
right now he is sleeping under the left towel. nighty night Lukas <3
and as you can see. he makes quite a mess hahah. poop everywhere. he kick out some of the floor on the outisde of the cage. he lieks to push over his water-cup. making it wet everywhere.

Try a water bottle for him, saves his bowl being pushed over and also reduces the risk of him gtting wet (They're like gremlins you must NEVER get them wet, XD mostly because they will never trully dry out again and are prone to growing fungus and mould in their fur if they do get wet.)
