Teaching an iPhone new tricks
Well... since the iPhone 4s has this new voice command feature, Siri, I was wondering if it could REALLY take commands from you.
Apparently, it works really well if you tell it to sit or stay, but never responds if you tell it to come.
Another series of my art while I procrastinate from my studying. I seriously should stop doing these for the time being, but I get bored from studying easily. :P

People treat their iPhones with too much respect.
"Could you give me directions to 3rd street?"
"What's the weather today?"
It should be:
"GIVE ME DIRECTIONS TO 3RD STREET OR I WILL KILL YOU!!"
or
"I NEED THE WEATHER REPORT... NAO!"
I'm curious if the iPhone could understand that. Or maybe it just doesn't work under stress.

Siri's nothing new. It's just the same voice command crap that today's mobile phones have, except Siri has better recognition than the previous. Just like "Launchpad" in MacOS X Lion is a redesigned version of "Launcher" in MacOS X, and "Mission Control" in MacOS X Lion is a redesigned version of "Spaces" in MacOS X. So really, it's just redesign and re-marketing.
It's just apple.
Apple "reinvented" virtually every new feature. like video calling (facetime), instant messaging (iMessage), the notification area (straight out of android), and more.
Apple is really good at attracting customers through marketing. Heck, Siri is just voice commands + voice search + chatbot + fact finder in one machine. Cool concept for people to buy, but nothing new.
The key to attracting customers? Eye candy over functionality.

LG Prada was announced and released way before Apple released their first iPhone. Then everyone else used that same design concept as a standard, and most people in the US were saying that others are "copying" Apple.
However, LG only released the Prada in Europe; but it has been slightly modified twice and re branded under two different caries for the US.
