If you walk past the hospital at the eastern edge of town, into the hills and past the giant painted white 'S', you find mostly undisturbed hills and high desert wilderness. Take the dirt paths past the discarded recliner and the spent shotgun shells, keep going east for about a mile, and you'll find it. A circle of stones, looking stacked almost on purpose stands before you, the energies and wind whipping around it so intense that even the staunchest skeptic could feel it.

He thought this was a portal to the world of the dragons, and having seen it myself, he might have been right all along.

Like a lot of others around here, I talked to him years ago, before falling out of the world and isolating myself. Athus, though I'll never get another chance to talk to you on this world, you made one heck of an impact on both otherkin and the furry fandom. Even now your words and beliefs inspire me.

I've always found dragons and their worlds intriguing. Wouldn't mind trying out an existence as one myself after the human shell typing this gets old, wears out and ceases. Perhaps somewhere in space and time we'll meet again.
