while i agree its a pretty blatant copy of the pose, it seems more like it was used as a reference for the pose, not an exact copy, the artwork is still different, the other artist did draw all the lined that make up the other picture, so its not quite a copy paste

This. tho thats still art theft in my mind as they didn't even post a credit to the reference. Sounds like "Void" did remove their copy but Bailey is refusing.

Once again I am SOO sorry All I wanted was credit for the pose, something simple like "Main body reference seen here, or drawn by:" Ect. I even have the back pose here too I just haven't scanned it. Bailey is being very nasty to me in such negative comments and creating new accounts to simply attack me. I did give him the option weeks ago to use my sketch BUT to give credit where due, and did not reply. I am so sorry

The art is amazing and I think it really did your art justice in the coloration dept.. I'm so glad Void has been so understanding in this. One would think if Void requested Bailey remove it that he would but he seems to be really digging his feet in.

This was never gift art as I did not complete it for you. It was meant to be used as a guide to build a fursuit from my company. I did not give permission for you to use it. And I know this is you Allan Tustin, Bailey Bat or Gallows fox, whichever you want to go by. The artist who drew this has been nothing short of sympathetic towarda this situation and has removed his copy. I ask you do the same. Or purchase the wrights to the original picture to use as your own. The artist said you role them to copy mine as the reference for the work. So please. I beg you be mature about this and remove it.

I am sorry you feel that way. I did comment in giving you the option to have the drawing and just give credit but you never replied. I'm worry for that. This has nothing to do with past relations this has to do with ownership of property no differnt than any other artist. I am happy you are happy that is after all, all I wanted for you. This is about personal property and respect. If you would like to keep the art simply say it was based off the design I did. That's all, simply give credit where due. I hope you can see where I am coming from with this.

Looking at both images... the character does belong to said individual; as such markings, look, and feel is technically his. The sketch, sure, you did do it, but all that was reused int he reference piece was the pose. As another artist, you know poses in a reference are not so easy, not only that, but one that shows certain details to best advantage?

It may not have been gift art... but... seeing as the character IS his... that means you stole his character in drawing it. So, you become the thief in that particular case.

In all reality, you both need to stop obsessing about this stuff and stop getting other people involved. You both talk about not spreading drama but the way neither of you have a problem throwing around bit sand pieces to all your friends says otherwise.

Life is for living, start living it and drop the rumor mongering... and trust me... I am saying the same to him.

On another note, comparing the two... the reference image has more of a bend to the knees and curve to the back, pushing the belly out. While the outstretched arms is more angled, altering the pose a fair bit, giving a more relaxed look. The facial expression itself is different as well, being slightly open mouthed, more narrow eyed. So even the pose is not an exact copy, but, fairly altered from your sketch.

I understand and it is unfortunate that he feels the need to complain to people as I am not. I do see the minute differences but in essence even the head is over the shoulder the exact same way. My reference was used to tell the artist how to draw it, and I am okay with that so long as I have credit as in "main body pose from here" and a link to me, that is all. All I wanted was credit where due, thats it. I did not want to start drama but as he blocked me from his page I could not post and request such, so I had to post on my own and ask the Admins to have it taken down. I did not want to do that, all I wanted was credit for the pose as I did draw it and this image is the exact one he gave to the artist to make the reference sheet. I, once again, did not want to cause drama.

Then you may wish to reword your info for the sketch above.

"So I recently became aware that a sketch I did in August has been copied to a tee. This sketch was NOT paid for so as such I did not give the owner of the character permission to use it what so ever. This has been uploaded to my scraps to help have the other one taken down as blaitent plagiarism. Thank you."

You openly attacked, and provoked drama. It may or may not have been intentional. But, you both need to stop it altogether as, it will begin to affect your friendships with others as it keeps up.

Agreed, I will edit the information above, I wrote it out quickly before I left for work, it was not meant to come out that way, after re-reading it now you are correct. I do admit I was hasty to post such a description. I will alter it to what it is I want, which is just credit for the sketch used in the reference. Thank you very much.
