Ivory James is the white member of the duo, serving as both the brawn and the brains of the group. He’s a coolheaded but kind man who uses his brawn in a smart way. He also serves as the duo’s mechanic and strategist.
He has first made Rosa acquainted in high school during a detention. At first he was skeptical of her presence, but eventually got along with her and beginning to hang out with her, appreciating her kindness and positive nature. However, he sometimes tends to be annoyed and even worried for her adventurous side, which sometimes caused them both trouble more than once.
As the brains of the group, he comes up with plans for heists and other money-making schemes, from robbing criminal lords’ fortunes to treasure hunting, and also serves as the mechanic and technical expert. He is also the arms expert and could handle any firearm, which is also disturbingly his hobby, and handles the armory for the team. With his strong frame, he could help out with the heists that require brute force and, with his experience as the high school’s champion boxer (which where he lost a tooth and had it replaced with a gold tooth later on); he could lay a nasty mark.
His weapon of choice is a Smith & Wesson Model 29 double-action revolver (which used to be owned by his grandparents), though he rarely uses it. But when he does use it, he uses it mostly to sabotage the wheels of the enemy cars during a car chase.
Before he became an outlaw, James lived with his grandparents (of his father side) Jeremy and Yvonne Lyons, due to father, Lars Lyons, was put in jail for reasons his grandparents never told him (nor did he cared to know). Though he does not show it to Rosa, James cares a great deal for his grandparents, considering they’re the only family he has ever known, and due to his current status, he occasionally feared meeting them and facing their reaction to his new lifestyle.
