I seem to be the only person who agrees.
The removal of multipiece armor, countless magic types and means of spellcasting, and more make Skyrim seem like a game made in the 1990's by a low budget company. I wish the people put effort into it.
Well I pre-ordered it, and checked out a demo of the game as well. I hope the finished game is better than the demo.
Demo was slightly entertaining, had a few good parts.

As it always has been, it is all about the money. Bethesda wants the game to sell and will do what ever it takes. Even if it means simplifying my favorite game series. I for one lost my interest in Skyrim when I found out that Spellmaking was removed entirely. Some are convinced that it is not too big of a deal... How many pieces can you remove out from under the tower before the whole thing comes crashing down is how I look at it. When you think about it, what does the average gamer want to do in a game like Skyrim? They just want to pick up an axe and kill a dragon. They do not pay attention to all the back story or any of the lore. This is the average gamer. It breaks my heart to see this series being simplified so it appeal to the average low attention span of the average gamer... *Tear*
