Another view of the most recent tail commission, with red and purple scales forming Vs converging along the line of the spine, and spikes making a line down the spine as well. The goal with the spikes here was to have them be decreasing in size/frequency going along towards the tip of the tail. Since there are only 2 sizes of the spikes, I did some tricks with alternating them to make it average out reasonably.

I really want to make something for myself involving these spikes.
