I was recently introduced to the old 1970's film "The Devil and Daniel Mouse" by DinosaurPrince (he made a post about it on his blog)

And I kinda fell in love with it. I liked the songs and the characters and...pretty much everything except the "wtf?!" ending.

But I especially love how Jan became a critique on "celebrity" and her many outfit changes (so period!)

So the first part of this sketch-o-rama features Jan before she got all disillusioned (maybe she should have known you can only go so far playing the AUTOHARP -_-)

The next one is after her transformation into Funky Jan. I loved it cause I was like. The song she sings then is one of my faves in the movie. Who wouldn't love the line "I got a love, he gets the cause and affection..." ooooh, high school science!

Anywho the last one is a pic of Funky Jan doing her last number "Can who help me find my Song?" which I thought was awesome. She was giving off a real Diana Ross vibe and I was digging it.
