Ok, so there is A LOT to say about this one.

This is, Artemis, a 'prototype' (meaning I need to have him approved) librarian Kobold who is my persona on a Minecraft server. I'm honestly not sure if I'll keep the Nanu themed markings, but he will stay golden browns.

As for the strange style- NeoGeen has pretty much been my late night art teacher a lot lately. Pushing me to try different styles, sketching techniques, brushes, colour theories etc. This is my first attempt at her digital "smush" paintings. The concept of working only on 1 layer blows my mind, haha. But it was fun trying! The grayscale shot was to see what needed to be worked on [needs some extreme highlights for sure].

I won't be finishing this particular piece. I spent exponentially way too much time on just the tiny bit of work shown. Went in a little bit over my head for my first try. Thankfully the custom brush is low impact, so I don't injure myself working long hours.
