Hmm-mm...I'll summarize it.
Kago was transferred from his world to Cocoon for his training. After the arrival, he stumbled into the Pulse Fal'cie Vestige where Serah was caught. He saw Serah lying on the ground with many Cieth trying to attack her. Kago saved her and learned about Cocoon, Cieth, Fal'cie, L'cie and all. He decides to take her to the Fal'cie to save Serah. But when he reached Anima, Anima casted a wall in between Serah and Kago to separate them, leaving Serah on the ground attacked by the Cieth where she was found by Lightning and the gang later on. Anima branded him with a focus to win an inter-dimensional contest (Which I participated here on FA). the winner of the contest gets a wish, and he was to win the contest and wish for the safety of both Pulse and Cocoon.
During the competition, he lost to a powerful opponent. When he was about to be turned into a Cieth, Lightning and gang managed to save Cocoon. Since their focus were the same, Kago dd not turn into a Cieth, and was sent back to his original world with the magical essence still within him.
