A very nice read!
I liked how the characters were believable, and easy to relate to from the get-go, without too much explanation.
The sentences were a bit confusing at times when they kept switching from past to present tense, but nothing too serious.
Also the fox was just waaaaaay too cute... in a good way ^^; (like when he tried to throw up his arms and almost fell over)
