Prelude #2 in C-moll from The Well Tempered Klavier, BWV 847, by Johann Sebastian Bach
2 minutes 12 seconds
Bach's work for the harpsicord, The Well Tempered Klavier, consisted of a Prelude and a Fugue in the major and minor of every key. Before Bach, keyboard players would only use the middle three fingers of each hand to play the instrument. Bach was the first to avocate using all ten fingers, and the pieces in The Well Tempered Klavier sure put all of them to work!
Realized on Yamaha DX-100 synthesizer, effects boxes, and Tascam Porta-1 4-track tape recorder. Best listened to with headphones.
