Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Night Music) is one of Mozart's most famous pieces. My version of these two movements tries to capture the gay frivolity of Mozart's musical genius.
In this version, I first played the notes into the sequencer. When I recorded it to tape, the sequencer was playing the music while I was making the quick changes to the sounds of the synthesizer.
I had borrowed the sequencer, and had to return it before I could use it to record the final Rondo of this piece.
Realized on Yamaha DX-100 synthesizer, sequencer, drum machine, effects boxes, and Tascam Porta-1 4-track tape recorder. Best listened to with headphones.
