When doing fursuit stuff, I find it saves a lot of headache and hassle if you can set up a camera (or bribe a friend) to take a photo of you in each pose, then print them off and trace the proportions and design around that. It's a lot easier than doing a straight forward character sheet with all the poses lined up next to eachother. :]
i just brainstormed how this could be done. but the key is to NOT make it one piece! calves and foot pieces, then thighs to trunk pieces then lower arms and hands piece then head neck and upper arms top half of trunk pieces each set with overlap fusuir hair fluff. using both unvucanized latex and foam spandex to design in the shapes for the musculature under the fur parts. attactment through velcro and an undergarment of support straps, like a suit of armor using traces to tie the parts together.
hard part will still be getting the lips to work independently of the face so that speech would look normal.
