This was one of the few birthday gifts to myself. This is a one of kind blade! I'm serious about that part. For its a hand forged Damascus blade!

OVERALL SIZE: 12.1" LONG
BLADE SIZE: 7.7" LONG
HANDLE SIZE: 4.2" LONG
KNIFE WEIGHT: 0.428 KG
LAYERS: 512
PATTERN: TWISTER
HANDLE: CAMEL BONE WITH BUFFALO HORN BOLSTER
BLANCE: AT THE HILT

I can't tell you exactly who made this cause it was a chance find.

It wasn't really the process that made the knife, though. It was the specific quality of iron they got from the grounds. So I believe.

Real Damascus is long lost, but its as close as we can get these days. So in terms. Yes.. Its Modern Damascus.

Ah, Damascus steel. I say your quite lucky to have this knife. Strong steel based alloy and it is also pretty to boot as well.

I'd feel sorry for the knife there. Its quite a beautiful design there, Damascus steel. Shame to use it on someone there.

*nods* I agree. So agree.. This is going to be more of Display piece. If I could find a similar knife without the Damascus then I'd definitly carry that.

Thank goodness for that. Damascus steel blades are quite a rare find I feel here and even if you had fifty of them lined up, one would be identical despite similar blade shape and make.

*nods* I know that mine was hand made, and unique. That white spot on the blade is a defect in the make, and the other side of the blade has a crack in it cause folding, and such.

Nope, you can get hunting knives just fine, you're ust not allowed to carry it in public. That said most places only have knock offs made of 420 or less stainless steel

Very niftly blade I can never go in blade stores always see things I want and usually not good idea to buy cause I needs my moneys for other things lol =3
