A huge thanks to  Naburus since without his sketch of me, this image and its sister would never have been possible.

I decided to do a bunch of research into how to get a sort of "painting" style in my pictures, and after going through several different tutorials and trying different things with these pictures, this was the result. There's some parts I'm not happy with (The head) but otherwise I'm EXTREMELY happy with how it came out.

I origionally planned for it to be on a beach at sunset. But ended out doing two seperate versions of the same picture. I like the lighting effect on this one, but it darkens the image a bit too much for me to like it more than the Daylight Vigil.
