A new character. I made him some time in the spring, but I never really drew him that often because I just couldn't get him to look right.
I've always had a huge fascination with sea life, especially the kind that lives in abyssal darkness. Eugene was to be a manifestation of this love/fascination. Also, I have a huge thing for mutant/experiment characters. NOT GONNA LIE. He's supposed to just be a mix of various deep sea life, rather than any specific species.
I plan on making a ref for him, but I'm debating between putting bioluminescent spots on his sides or not. Or... well, anywhere on his body. He originally had an angler fish lure on his forehead, but I scratched that due to the fact that only female angler fish have those. And... well, I'm a sucker for accuracy.
UHG there's so much I want to say about him, but I'd better save it for the ref.

Unfortunately, my extreme OCD for accuracy really ruined the character for me. Which is horrible and stupid, because Orion's design is absolutely wonderful and I just wanna take him home and keep him in a fish tank all to myself.
Oh cod, now I have to do think up a character like that! xD
