Fernlyn is a Ground/Grass type often found in deserts or barren waste lands such as burnt parries. The berries one their tail are edible and they feed to lost wanderers..This is only its first form and the buds on it ears later bloom which produces a sweet nectar which is often used for baking sweet treats or used in hot tea to sooth a sore throat. Fernlyn are rarely seen as they often sleep curled with half their body in the earth, staining the under parts of their bellies and legs dark brown. often mistaken for a patch of dead grass next to a berry bush they usually only get noticed when someone steps on them which startles them making them dig deep into the earth surface. Though they are curious by nature and very gentle they often surface shortly after to make sure no one was hurt and to see who or what stepped on them.
