I know what you mean. I never understand how heads connect to bodies and how waists.......work...
The legs are totally fine, you just made his torso a little bit too long and noodle-y. If you gave him a little indication of waist that would help the noodle problem, and if you brought his arm down to a less severe angle and then moved his head and neck a little bit down and to the left...I tried to redline it but I have no tablet so it just looked completely stupid. Supposing you actually care haha.

I don't know if I made it better...or fucked it up...

Whatever, man. The body looks fine and you accomplished a way more Dynamic pose than I could. Will say the colored face is NOT what I expected style-wise.
Don't know if you CARE to get unsolicited advice and I'm sorry if it's rude, but find a torrent for the Loomis art book. I also sometimes find a free 3D pose model site or use thumbnails from GIS searches for poses--never open it all the way, make it hard on myself, but it helps with those basic shapes and positioning.
Well I like it.
