so i'm semi back, still on and off
anyways here is my current status
Okay so… i went to the dentist a few weeks ago to get my teeth some braces
yesterday was… kinda the 3rd step of the process… one of my teeth that's actually a healthy teeth had to be pulled out cause it was blocking the way
the problem is the process….
do you see how BIG the root of that molar teeth?
how to explain this…. my gum had to be injected with anesthetic 6 times during the operation but it doesn't work cause the nerve of the teeth is on the wrong place… with another teeth
oh and the bloody painful operation took 30 mins >_>
soo…. teeth pulling without anesthetic…
figure out how much painful it is :P
i admit i cried during the operation because of the pain, and i was shivering after the operation and got ill
am i ashamed to be crying? not really…. it was too painful >_>
oh and 2 weeks later i had to go to the dentist again to pull out ANOTHER TEETH
yay… *sarcasm*
i found some irony here
irony number 1: if i were turian i don't think i have to go to the dentist since turian got only 12 teeth :P
irony number 2: if i were a snake like my fursona i wont ever have to go to the dentist, seeing i would only have 2 fangs lol

Same thing happened to me but it was AFTER I had the braces on. They said that some new teeths were appearing on the back so they had to remove 2 teeths of mine. Thing is, both were removed on the same day... x-x
I also cried in pain but it was when they were injecting me with the anesthetic. The teeth pulling...felt a bit weird but pratically no pain. I looked funny with my upper lip all floppy after the proccess from the anesthetic. xD

I can ACTULLY imagine that >.< I had my very back tooth pulled because it ahd a cavity and ocne and ahwile it would ac tup,I could NEVER get any sleep x.x they used anesthetic and I think the operatioon took like 10 mins and in 3 days my gym full healed but I could sitll kidna feel the power and a little pain,I cna imagine if I didn't get anestetic and good lord tha tthing is huge O_o

Oh gosh...I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through such an ordeal in getting not 1, but 2 teeth pulled out just so you could have braces installed. It sounds like it must have been very painful indeed, especially with having them pulled out without the use of anesthetic. :(
I remember when I got my wisdom teeth pulled out when I was 17 or 18. For that operation, the dentists gave me anesthetic to knock me out and before I knew it, the operation was done. I remember that I felt groggy and my entire jaw was numb, with my cheeks stuffed with cotton in the corners of my jaw to absorb the blood from the gum area where the teeth were pulled, along with a couple of small, spaghetti noodle-sized tubes there for some reason I don't remember (they naturally came off later on when my jaw became un-numb. I actually recovered quickly from that operation within a few hours in recovering from my grogginess and continued about my day like any normal day, except I had to eat really soft foods for a while. Didn't get sick afterwards or anything like that...I guess maybe I was lucky in that regard...?

Wow... no wonder my dentist was shocked at my incisor root size.... its about the same length from the looks of it... and I've been through braces, they weren't horrible but I too had to have a tooth removed because it was actually forced behind my other teeth (I only have three incisors) and joy to me my bottom wisdom teeth are coming in jacked up.
I knocked one of my front tooth half off when i was a kid .w. but lucky for me they stuck a augmented or fake tooth (or whatever <w>) on it and looks perfect :D cept my 2nd tooth to the right of my front one is slightly under the first right one. s'ok, plaque may get behind it but that's nothing dental floss cant do!

Oh yes, what a pain, our teeth do need so much attention. Brush twice daily, floss once, mouthwash, braces for a year, permanent dental apparatus, crowns for broken teeth, root canals because of broken teeth, and on top of all that genetics makes the wisdom teeth grow in sideways and had to be cut out (although I do wonder what that would have looked like if they had finished coming in, could have been interesting and painful).

You have my heartfelt sympathies my man. I would have cried too if I'd had that pried out without any painkillers.
I once had to have surgery on an ingrown toenail as a kid and the anesthetic didn't take, but the doctor started cuttting anyway, saying it "would kick in soon", but it fucking *didn't". Call me a pussy, but I sure was glad that my mom was there to hold my hand when he started cutting and I could feel *all* of it.

Straight teeth aren't worth that kinda pain. Loose the braces and forget about pulling teeth. I'd rather have crooked teeth.
What you were born with is always good enough. If you can't eat right then, and only then, should that kind of stuff ever be considered. I really dislike some things like that that society seems to force on people. "you won't look good unless you do this" fuck that, you're beautiful and 2 middle claws up to anyone who disagrees.
