Since this is my first submission, I'll give a little introduction:
Ok, I realize that I am not really that good at drawing and this is probably not even close to being one of the best things you've seen before. However, I finally decided to give it my best shot (after viewing loads of amazing art from others on Fur Affinity) and try to draw what will eventually develop into my fursona, Wulpo. I know it looks rather generic right now, but I do have an idea of the colors and such I plan to use later. For now I'm only trying to get some practice with the actual drawing part.
Now a little about the drawing itself:
This drawing took roughly 5 hours for me to complete. I don't think there is a single part of this that I only drew once and was happy with it. Now in retrospect I can still see some things that are still wrong about it (such as the arm waving is longer than the other, the head is a little large and rather round, and also the pose looks maybe a tad awkward). Nonetheless, this is actually one of the best things I've ever personally drawn (up to this point) and I'm surprised that it actually came out as well as it did.
TL/DR: I can't draw well and I worked very hard on this. Please don't make fun of it, lol.

Since you wanted my opinion:
1. The Head: You're gonna want to remember the head isn't a perfect circle. It's more or less a vertical, oval-ish shape. Also, if you're gonna draw an anthro character, make sure to add a fur-texture to the edges of said characters head. If you avoid this fur-texture, you're gonna make it seem like the character doesn't have fur at all which gets weird. Also, if you're gonna focus on making your art more 3 dimensional, make sure certain parts are not entirely 2D.
2. The body: Necks are usually thicker, the shoulders must be the same width on both sides. Also, make sure you draw the arms the same length. Elbows usually extend about to half of the torso length, and hands extend about next to the buttocks. And try to practice drawing the fingers rounded, not sharp.
3. Legs: Thighs are about 3/4 the length of the torso, sometimes (rare) as long as the torso. The lower leg is also about as long as the upper leg.
and if you wanna add highlights (and I presume you're doing it traditionally), you should probably figure out where you want the highlights and then preplan for that while colouring.
